National Park(932 sq. Km)
is listed as a world Heritage Sites and is the most
popular safari destination in Nepal. It covers a unique
ecosystem, Containing hills, ox-bow lakes and flood plains. Dominated by Sal
forest and the Park has 50 species of grasses. The 43 species of animals include
the endangered one horned Rhino, Royal Bangal Tiger, Gharial Crocodile, Gaur,
wild elephant, four horned antelope, striped hyena, pangolin, Gangetic dolphin,
monkey wild elephant, Monitator lizard, pythons, sloth bear, leopards, Sumber,
Spotted deer and 460 difference species of residential and migratory birds.
This
National Park is within easy access from Kathmandu you can drive 5 hours or take
a Rafting trip down- Trisuli River Concluding in Chitwan or from India via
Sanauli, Birjung, and Kakarvitta. Chitwan was declared malaria- free in 1960. Diplomat

Royal Bardia
National Park (968 sq. Km)
is the
largest and most undisturbed wilderness area in the Terai. It is thickly
forested by Sal trees and is carpeted with Grass, Savannah and Riverine forest.
It is a regenerated habitat for endangered species like the Rhinoceros, wild
elephant, Tiger, Swamp deer, black buck, Gharial crocodile, and Gangetic dolphin
and Endangered birds includes the Bengal Florican, lesser florican silver-eared
Mesia and Sarus.

BIRD
WATCHING TOUR
Nepal
is a bird watchers paradise with over 800 species (almost10% of the
world total) of birds and among them, almost 500 are found in the Kathmandu
valley alone. The surrounding hills offer a varied ecology ranging from primary
and secondary forest to rhododendron, oak land pine forests.
The
most popular bird watching spot is the Phulchoki hill, the highest peak in the
valley rim situated 20 km south east of the Kathmandu, with some 265 species
recorded till date. The birds seen here include babbles, warblers, tits,
thrushes, minivets, woodpeckers, eagles and many migrant birds. Godavari at the
foot of Phulchoki hill where the Royal Botanical Garden is situated, records
over 100 species of birds including the lesser Racket tailed Drongo, Tibetan
Siskin and the spotted fork tail. So grab your binoculars and head for the hill.

to Hotel and Rest.

Day 02

0900: Jungle walks around two hours and comeback to Hotel by Dugout canoe.
